Happy Halloween!

We had such a fun morning! All of the students looked so great in their costumes, and we got to show them off to all of the other students and teachers in the school! We also had a lot of fun doing the hokey pokey.  After we changed out of our costumes, we had all of our delicious Halloween snacks! A great big THANK YOU to the parents who brought them in. :) We even played a few fun games in our room. Check out the pictures below.

We had a great morning! Hopefully everyone has a fun an safe night of trick-or-treating!

It's Pumpkin Time

The students had a blast watching me cut open our pumpkin. They were able to get their hands sticky and dirty while digging out the pumpkins insides. Some of them were a little unsure about touching it, but all in all we had a great time! Check out the pictures below.

I is for Iguana...

This week we have been learning about the short i sound as part of our Jolly Phonics program. Today we did a fun craft, I is for Iguana. The students did a great job and had so much fun making it!

Halloween Next Week...

Just a reminder that next Wednesday is our Halloween Party. The students are to come dressed in their costumes and should bring a change of clothes for the afternoon. Below is the list of students and what they are to bring for the party.

Sausage (for the crackers)- Kaileigh Wall

Pattern Blocks

As part of our Everyday Math today, we explored pattern blocks. We discussed the different shapes as well as how many sides they have and what color they are. The students pieced the pattern blocks together on their puzzle cards. Check out some of their work!
