Short I Sound

This week we are working on the short I sound. We have talked about words such as igloo, inside, iguana, and insects. They made an iguana today out of the letter I.

During center time, we worked on a book all about the things we see in October, used dot markers to make candy corn, and used teamwork to put together alphabet puzzles.

Black Cats!

The children did a great job following directions and making a black cat yesterday! They did a lot of cutting and gluing. They also folded the cat's tail accordion style, which was a first for many, and they all turned out great! Check out their hard work!

Our Leaf Walk!

On Monday, since the weather was still nice, we went on a leaf/nature walk! We found many different colors of leaves and even some acorns, pine cones and walnuts! We also saw a lot of Halloween decorations, both scary and funny! Check out some of our fun we had.

They had fun jumping and crunching the leaves!

Throwing them in the air was a lot of fun too!
