G is for Guitar!

This week's sound is /g/. We made guitars!!

We continued practicing one to one correspondence and recognizing numbers. The children had to match the number to the cookie with the right number of chocolate chips.

Our Jolly Phonics craft this week!

Counting with Marshmallows!

We worked on number recognition and one to one correspondence today. They used marshmallows to put the right amount on their gingerbread house. 

We finished up our 5 senses unit last week talking about our sense of touch. Each child reached into a feely box to use only their fingers to feel what was inside. Some things were rough and scratchy like sandpaper and others were really soft like fleece!
