Traditional Tales

This week we have been reading a few traditional tales. We read Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Three Little Pigs, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, and The Red Hen. With some of the stories we had puppets where the children were able to use them to retell the story. They loved it! Check out some of the pictures.

Below are a few pictures of the children practicing their sounds on the Chromebooks and playing an Everyday Math game. They were working on one to one correspondence by rolling the die and feeding the correct amount of dogs.

Toothbrush Painting

This week our theme has been Dental Health. We have read many books about how to keep our teeth clean and healthy! The children used toothbrushes to paint a tooth white. They loved it; we always have fun with paint! :)

B is for Bumblebee

Our sound this week for Jolly Phonics is /b/. Today, we made bumblebees out of the letter B. They cut out their pieces and then cut strips of black for their stripes. 

Dental Health

This week our theme is dental health. Today, we talked about how you can keep your teeth clean and what kinds of foods are good for your teeth and which foods are bad for your teeth. 

Valentine's Day Party & Candy Heart Graphing

Last week we had fun celebrating Valentine's Day. Each student made their own valentines box at home and brought in valentines for each child in our class. They had fun handing them out! We also did a fun candy heart graphing game.
