A few projects from today...
The students colored and cut out their own set of dinosaur cards that they will take home to play memory with! They also painted a Y yellow because it is our sound this week.
During centers they played dinosaur memory, used the chromebooks and worked on a number and shape puzzle. One group put the whole puzzle together on their own; they were very proud!

Dinosaur Stamping & Y project

They had a lot of fun using the dinosaur stamps and ink pads today! They also worked on their Y craft. They colored pictures of a yak, yarn and a child yawning. They glued the pictures and the uppercase and lowercase Y onto a picture of a yellow yo-yo.

T-Rex

This week we are continuing with our dinosaur theme. Today they made a T-Rex, and wrote their name on the inside. They enjoyed using the dot markers! They turned out really cute.

What the Robin Told...

The wind told the grasses, and the grasses told the trees. The trees told the bushes, and the bushes told the bees. The bees told the robin, and the robin sang out clear: Wake up! Wake up! Spring is here!

To celebrate the first day of spring, we made a robin.

If I were a Dinosaur...

As part of dinosaur week, the children chose a dinosaur that they would like to be. They colored their dinosaur and wrote the name of it on the line.
