We were very lucky to have Mrs. Wall bring in two lambs for us to see. The black lamb was a week old and the white lamb was born on Saturday. The kids loved them and thought it was great to be able to pet them and hear the sounds that they made. It went along great with our farm unit!

This week we started our Farm unit. We have been talking about all the different animals and machines we can see on a farm. One of the most important machines on a farm is a tractor. Check out our tractors we made out of circles, a square and a rectangle!
The children also used a clothes pin to pick the correct number that matched the number of farm animals on their card. The answer is on the back so they can see if they are correct!
We also had a fun time working on letter packets and playing an alphabet match game!

Easter Egg Hunt!
Today the children had a great time looking for the hidden eggs! They put their eggs in their bunny baskets. Eric brought in some great Easter cookies; we each were able to have a bunny and a chick cookie.
Jellybeans!
As part of our Easter theme we did a jellybean color book. I brought in jellybeans for the children to taste. Almost all of the children enjoyed red and purple, however black was a definite dislike! Their faces and reactions were pretty funny!
James liked every color except for black!
Addyson's reaction to the black jellybean!

Brooklynn's Ducklings!
Brooklynn brought in her pet ducks to share with us. They were so cute and little! Her mom told us that they would be white when they get bigger; we couldn't believe it!
