More Pond Fun!

This week was all about animals at the pond! The children painted a paper plate and made it into a turtle. They took time to match uppercase and lowercase pond letters as well as spell out pond words! 

Mrs. Mara brought in some things she caught that belong in the pond. She showed us a few turtle shells as well as a beaver hide. She also had the head and teeth of the beaver she trapped! The kids really enjoyed getting to look at and feel the things she brought in.

Our Walk to the Park!

It was a great day to walk to the park to let our butterflies go! We enjoyed watching them grow from caterpillars into beautiful butterflies. We had a lot of fun playing on the different playground equipment too!

Our high school friend had her last day with us today as well! We wish Olivia the best of luck and we were so glad she got to come hang out with us this year!

We have had quite the excitement in our room over the past few weeks! We watched our caterpillars turn into beautiful butterflies! It was such a cool experience and the children really enjoyed watching them. We plan to let them go sometime this week! :)

They all formed their chrysalis' so we moved them to the net.

 A week later they started to push out and become a butterfly!
